Sofia Bonati

Sofia Bonati is an Argentinian artist and illustrator. She was born in Buenos Aires on 1982 into a family of artists.
She started her artistic career when she moved to the UK in 2013, whilst balancing her new life as a mum.

Besides working on her own projects, she has also developed a career as an illustrator, with clients such as Iberia (Spain), Vanity Fair (France) and Mondadori (Italy). In her production, the main theme is female portraits, with whimsical and melancholic atmospheres, captivating gazes, and often including surrealistic elements.

The media of most of her pieces is pencil, watercolour and gouache on paper, as well as digital productions.
