On November 21st, 2015, Lora Zombie and Eyes On Walls filled a colossal 5500 square foot gallery space in the Queen West District of Toronto with the bulk of her original works from the previous year. Titled ‘Unicorn Comet’ after one of the show’s signature pieces, this was the artist’s largest exhibition to date.
An impressive queue started forming long before the doors opened. Lora has been experimenting with ever larger canvases and pieces spanning multiple panels were on display, some as large as 6 feet wide. Throughout the 2.5 hour exhibition, over 1000 fans circled the show throughout the night taking in almost 60 pieces of original art. HEROTIME, Lora’s line of apparel and accessories, had recently launched in the Summer and pieces from the collection were on display and available for purchase in the brand’s first ever pop-up shop.
