Tom and Jim Rowlandson, the father-son Founders of Eyes on Walls, became business partners after seeing an opportunity in the market for publishing and promoting an emerging collective of talented young artists creating exciting art for a new generation of art buyers.
In 2010 Tom left his position running the publishing for a leading online art community in Los Angeles and together he and Jim drove cross country, planning a new art business and brand that would be Eyes On Walls.
Armed with their entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for the delicate combination of business and art, the pair began building Eyes On Walls as a powerful partner for a select group of young artists to expose their work to a global audience and develop the business side of their career.
We believe in real art from real artists. Great art says something. It comes from the heart of a real artist. It stands out, represents an idea, it says something. It's not about this year's color trend or matching your new sofa.
Art shouldn't be pretentious. We don't call our customers collectors or investors, we don't call ourselves curators. Art should be something fun, and something anyone can participate in and feel welcome.
Supporting artists and their talent is why we do what we do. Every purchase on our website directly supports the artist who created it and contributes towards further exposing their work. We do everything we can to support our artists and help them further their careers.
As a customer of Eyes On Walls, you can expect:
